What I Design.

Logos, business cards, website assets, is where I have the most experience. I have worked with small business owners and individuals, where I helped establish and create their Visual Identity. Breaking into 2D Vector Animation has added a new layer to my web designs.

How I Design.

Since design isn't a step by step process for me, I start broad trying various design approaches. Iterating on ideas that stand out and convey personality.

Why I Design.

I had a much different start to graphic design, compared to my illustrative history, where my design approach was all based on my illustrations in my feeble early attempts . I started to create visual graphics with many different ways to tackle each idea. After messing around for a while, and I finally got to try my hand at business design by creating the visual identity for Magpie's Nest and the professional aesthetic for Dr. Sara Bruton.

Now I am continuing to find new ways of creating intricate visual designs. By utilizing programs such as Blender 3.4.1 and Procreate to create new avenues to create graphical art pieces and brand assets.

Web & Business Design

With this design I was wanting to capture the magic that musical theatre has, and present it in a way that showed the professionalism of Dr. Sara Bruton. A well experienced stage director, choreographer, and stage actor. The website is to create a well deserved web space for her to shine.
Using clean shape language was the motif for business cards, and I carried that into the design process for her website. Adding life to the website with a few vector animations.

Magpie's Nest
Social & Business Design

This is a local arizona online seller who was wanting a more professional yet mid-century modern aesthetic for their social media presence and in person sales. It was accomplished with a simple and striking color scheme, and ornate font choices.

A line spans across the card spelling, in cursive, Magpie's Nest. Under the line it says, Fine Arts and Collectibles Shoppette.
